Updated Facility Pictures Coming Soon!
Camp Michigamme began in 1922 as the Michigamme Methodist Institute for Methodist Youth across the Upper Peninsula. Almost 100 years have passed and we continue to serve the UP, the Tip of the Mitt, and Northern Wisconsin families and youth. We strive to provide a welcoming space for all to enjoy God’s beautiful creation, unplug and connect with one another creating life-long friendships and memories. Each structure on site has its own history to tell. Here is brief look at our 10 camper cabins in the winter time. Check back soon for additional pictures and information on other buildings around Camp Michigamme! Want even more details and history? Consider picking up Alan Larsen’s Camp Michigamme History Book! Completed in 2015, Alan’s family has been involved with Camp since the 1930’s dating back to his parents and many of his 20 grandchildren attend as campers today. One could say that Alan knows a bit about Camp Michigamme. Interested in having one sent or picking one up? Simply email Erica, the Camp Director at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 906-323-6521
